 The 'F5 App' is a weather app for your Android cell phone. The software automatically locates your position and pull weather information automatically without the need for you to enter any location information. F5 App is powered by F5Data, and proprietary severe weather and tornado forecasting techniques developed by a storm chaser with over 15 years of experience forecasting tornadoes.
The Severe and Tornado forecast maps simply and clearly pinpoint areas of greatest concern for severe weather and tornadoes. Two seperate maps allow you to specify what kind of storm type you may experience. For example, if your area shows severe weather but not tornadoes, expect a wind and hail severe threat. If your area shows a threat on both the severe and tornado maps, you can identify that you should expect wind, hail AND tornadoes in your area.
These maps are completely unique and not at all based off of the Storm Prediction Center or any other sources. This makes our product a great companion to any Emergency Manager's aresenal when assessing a severe weather situation.
There are multiple zoom levels, allowing you to view radar, satellite or your severe forecasts with more precision and detail.
F5 App is a great resource for the general traveler as well. The visibility map, radar, current conditions, precipitation and snowfall forecasts are all great tools for Drivers.
